Today, I and my senior were appointed as exam supervisor of undergraduate course for 1 hour 15 minutes. My senior told me that we have to aware of students who want to do "cunning" since our professor teach a very tough course in IE department (it is "Database Theory")
As a typical student, all students really expect to have an easy problem for the exam. As I read the problems, some might be difficult but most them were easy (for me). I saw one student on the back side who was very nervous. I came to his side on the first 5 minutes and he became more nervous. During the first 30 minutes, he did nothing since I stood beside him. The next 30 minutes, he became "a bit angry" since he couldn't cunning. As a result, he returned the blank answer sheet to the exam supervisor.
He just sit down and did nothing during 1 hour 15 minutes. Why ? He could try to answer some of the problems, couldn't he ? He is lazy ? or He didn't understand ?
I think he didn't try of his best. He underestimate this course. He think that this course bring disadvantage for him. This is what I thought at that time.
From this experience, I could do self-evaluation. Did I do my best in every matters in my life ? Sometimes, I'm not. If I didn't do my best, people may think about me the same as I thought about that guy. Therefore, in order to avoid bad perception from others, let's always do the best in every parts of our life. ^^.
